10 SIMPLE EXERCISES TO TONE 🦵 MUSCLE
Here are 10 simple exercises you can do to tone your leg muscles, no equipment needed:
1. Bodyweight Squats
- How: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, lower hips back and down, then return to standing.
- Muscles: Quads, hamstrings, glutes.
2. Lunges
- How: Step forward with one leg, lower hips until both knees are at 90°, push back to start.
- Muscles: Quads, hamstrings, glutes.
3. Glute Bridges
- How: Lie on your back, bend knees, feet flat on floor, lift hips up and squeeze glutes.
- Muscles: Glutes, hamstrings.
4. Wall Sits
- How: Slide down a wall until knees are at 90°, hold the position.
- Muscles: Quads, glutes.
5. Step-Ups
- How: Step up onto a sturdy chair or bench, then step down.
- Muscles: Quads, hamstrings, calves.
6. Calf Raises
- How: Stand with feet hip-width apart, raise heels off ground, then lower.
- Muscles: Calves.
7. Side Leg Raises
- How: Lie on your side, lift top leg upward, then lower.
- Muscles: Outer thighs, glutes.
8. Donkey Kicks
- How: On hands and knees, kick one leg up toward the ceiling.
- Muscles: Glutes, hamstrings.
9. Sumo Squats
- How: Stand with feet wider than shoulders, toes out, lower into squat.
